Thanks to our community’s fiber optic network, Chattanooga and the surrounding region are the perfect place to pioneer smart technology designed to improve urban life. Already, our region’s institutions are leading the way in creating new solutions in education, healthcare, safety, civic engagement, and transportation.
The Enterprise Center convenes The Chattanooga Smart Community Collaborative, a collection of some of our region’s most prominent institutions. The group is focused on conducting research and developing technology that serves citizens. The Enterprise also works to ensure that digital inclusion is at the heart of our smart community strategies. At The Enterprise Center, we are driven by the belief that in order to be a truly smart community, we must also be a digitally equitable community. Everyone should have the chance to benefit from the development of new technology and to participate in its creation.
