Technology Transfer Conferences

The Enterprise Center invites you to attend our annual one-day conference that focuses on showcasing technology transfer opportunities and technology commercialization for your business. The conference provides opportunities for business, industry, manufacturing, and entrepreneurs to learn about technology transfer, how to access technologies available, and how to build assets to execute a successful technology transfer. Participants also learn about services available through The Enterprise Center as the portal to technology, research, and assets available to stimulate economic development and create jobs.   This event is generally held in the spring.

Business Plan Competition

The Enterprise Center in partnership with Y-12 National Security Complex hosts an annual Business Plan Competition designed to cultivate original business concepts and lead to the development of new enterprises. Teams of students and/or entrepreneurs will review Y-12 National Security Complex’s technology portfolio and develop a business plan based on a selected technology. Professionals including experts in business, technology, capital, and entrepreneurship will review each plan and judge the pitches from each team. Winning teams will receive cash and prizes including business support to pursue licensing Y-12 technology and launching the business. Attendees can watch teams develop and pitch their ideas and learn from the process. If you are interested in participating on a team or lending your talents as a judge or advisor, please contact the Office of Technology Development and Transfer for more information. This event is generally held in the fall of the year.
